Novatek to continue paying 30% of IFRS net profit in dividends

MOSCOW, Jul 27 (PRIME) -- Russian independent gas producer Novatek will continue paying 30% of its net profit calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in dividends, CFO Mark Gyetvay said in a conference call on Thursday.

“We will continue paying 30% of the IFRS net profit in the framework of our dividend policy,” he said.

In January–June, the company’s IFRS net profit attributable to shareholders fell about 53% to 74.261 billion rubles.
